Modern dance teacher, rehearsal director, choreographer

István Konig

A12 resident Modern Dance teacher and A12 Dance Theatre choreographer. Over the past 20 years, István has taught in many places (Hungarian Academy of Dance, National Dance Theatre ...etc.) and danced in several Hungarian dance theatre companies.
She graduated in Movement Science from Semmelweis University, and later, together with Tamás, from the University of Dance.

István has been involved in various modern dance movements since he was 16. He believes that the true freedom of modern dance cannot be experienced without its deeper technical knowledge. Therefore, his classes are structured around this idea.
